Over 25 representatives of Persons with Disabilities attended this workshop held at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development in Nairobi. In this collaborative effort between light of the world Africa, Enicapital Foundation, Nyali Capital and Ecobiz Sacco, the participants engaged in a financial goal setting session. Each of the participants were clear that often the financial offerings that they have access to are not sustainable in the economy that we are in. Delayed supplier payments often lead to many not being able to meet their financial obligations. They also outlined the pandemic that is part of our ‘instant generation’ i.e. People who want to get their money now. This has deeply affected the communities that they are a part of. The participants were extremely grateful for the workshop and asked that the entities would do more of these sessions.
